Swadhyay Parivar, founded by Pandurang Shastri Athavale, is a spiritual and social movement based on the principles of self-study (Swadhyaya) and devotion (Bhakti), drawing inspiration from the Bhagavad Gita and other Indian scriptures. The movement emphasizes spiritual, social, and economic liberation through self-study and selfless service. It has spread to nearly 100,000 villages in India with around five million followers.

“Unity in Diversity” is one of the most defining and inspiring characteristics of India.
